is 26 miles northeast of Aviemore, 13
miles east of Grantown-on-Spey, at the small
village of Ballindalloch, next to the main A95
road.
The Distillery can be visited most of the
year for the Shop, Tasting's and Tours.

This is a Single Malt Distillery that opened
in 2014 with the first 7 year old Whisky sold
in 2023 for about £100.

Ballindalloch Distillery History
1546 - Ballindalloch Castle was built
for the Grants.
1996 - Ballindalloch Castle Golf Course
opened.
2014 - Ballindalloch Distillery opened on
the grounds of Ballindalloch Castle for the
Macpherson-Grants, next to the Golf Course,
using Barley grown on the Estate.
This is a small Distillery releasing low
volume editions, so fairly expensive.
2023 - the first 7 year old Single Malt
Whisky was bottled.
2023 - the first 8 year old Single Malt
Whisky was bottled at Cask Strength.
2024 - the first 9 year old Single Malt
Whisky was bottled.
