Below is a view from the tee of the 461 yard, par four,
18th, Duel in the Sun. This is a dogleg left towards
the side of the clubhouse and front of the hotel. The
narrow strip of short grass is the line for the 18th
fairway. The fairway to the left is the 18th on the
Kintyre Course. Just right of the whin cuts the corner
but there are bunkers about 265 yards off the tee that
catch anything cutting the corner too much. This hole
normally plays into the wind or right to
left. |

| Most golfers play their tee shots to end
up just short of the bunkers or to the right of the
bunkers. This area leaves about 180 yards to the front
of the green. Good conditions allow the longer hitters
to play over this bunker to shorten the hole
considerably. The left half of the green is well
protected with a bunker, mounds and rough. |

Below is a view from the back of the
18th green. Note the bunker mound with thick rough
that discourages long irons from going at the pin
when the hole is cut over that side.
