Prestwick Airport has its own Train
Station as seen left of the main terminal
building in the image above. Trains run
every 20 minutes from Prestwick Airports
own Train Terminal, 40 minute travel time
north to Glasgow Central, 1 minute south
to Prestwick Town and 5 minutes south to
Ayr.
Running times are from 06:00 - 23:08.
All Ryanair passengers receive cut price
rail travel. Simply show your airline
ticket to the ticket collector on the
train and a single trip to Glasgow will
cost about £3, no need to book, just
pay on the train.
For travel to Glasgow or Edinburgh on
Late Evening flights, coaches run to suit
these flights.
The X99/X100 airport express bus
service offers passengers arriving on
late evening flights outside public
transport times, a direct service between
the airport, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
You are strongly recommended to
pre-book tickets, although they can be
purchased from the driver on the day of
travel subject to availability.

Late Night Taxis cost about £60
from Prestwick Airport to Glasgow City
Centre. Most taxis will carry 4 people at
