Most couch trips in the east of Scotland depart from Edinburgh and in the west depart from Glasgow. It take about 1 hour 20 minutes for linking coaches to travel between Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Days Out tickets to Edinburgh or Glasgow allow you to take the city sightseeing coaches with discounts for entry to many of the attractions.

You can book tickets online or just pay the driver when getting on the bus Busy times are best pre-booked to ensure a seat.

Aberdeen - Aberdeen Airport
Bus numbers 307, 10 and 27 run from the airport to the city centre. Cost is £1.30 approximately for a one-way ticket. Numbers 307 and 10 terminate at the bus station where there are taxis. Travel time about 40 minutes.

Edinburgh - Edinburgh Airport
All the public buses pick up and drop off outside the UK arrivals area. The bus stops at Edinburgh Airport are at stand 18 on the terminal forecourt road outside the UK arrivals hall.

Airlink 100 & 100 Express (100X) to the city centre. The bus departs from outside the arrivals area and NOT from the bus stops further down Route: Airport - Maybury (For Marriot Hotel 5 mins) - Drum Brae - Edinburgh Zoo - Murrayfield (Rugby Stadium) - Haymarket (for trains) - West End, Princes St (at Frederick St) - Waverley Bridge, near to the main railway station and bus station. Cost: about £3 single, £5 return (children £2 single, £3 return). Travel time about 30 minutes.

Glasgow - Glasgow International Airport
Regular bus services travel between Glasgow and Glasgow Airport such as the No 905 from Stop No 3 at the front of the Terminal and Airbus Express from stop No 5 at the front of the Tterminal. Travel time about 20 minutes. Price quide about £3.30 single. Stops in Glasgow centre are around Central Train Station and Queens Street Train Station.

Arriva 60 Bus runs from bus Stop No 1 to Inchinnan Rd - Love St - Paisley Train Station - Royal Alexandra Hospital - Foxbar (Heriot Avenue). Cost: Adult £0.80-1.90 depending on distance, child half price.

Glasgow - Glasgow Prestwick Airport & Ayr
Express Service X77 To Glasgow and Ayr: Route: Glasgow Buchanan Bus Station - Glasgow Wellington St - Glasgow Waterloo St - (some buses stop at Kilmarnock Bus Station) - Airport Terminal - Prestwick Cross - Ayr Bus station.
