Seabourn Odyssey was the first of two ships in this class to enter service. Her sister ship Seabourn Sojorn entered service in 2010. Seabourn have three other cruise ships similar in design, although smaller, at 9,975 tons. These ships are Seabourn Pride, Seabourn Spirit and Seabourn Legend.

This class of ship has 10 passenger decks, 2 pools, 4 restaurants, 223 outside cabins, can carry 450 passengers and a crew of 330.

Seabourn Odyssey is mainly operated on Mediterranean cruises between Italy, Greece and Turkey. Occasional routes are South America, Caribbean and Far East.

Seabourn Sojourn's is operated on a wide range of cruises including Mediterranean, Caribbean, Baltic, Norwegian and the British Isles.
