Britannia was the largest cruise ship built for P&O at this time, with 15 passenger decks, 1837 cabins, 1313 with balconies, 64 suites, can carry 4,324 passengers and 1,398 crew, has 13 restaurants, 13 bars, and a 936 seat theatre.

The previous largest P&O ships were the 116,000 ton Ventura and Azura that entered service in 2008 and 2010.

Britannia is a Royal Class cruise ship, with the same design as Princess Cruises Royal Princess that entered service in 2013, and Regal Princess in 2014.

Britannia's Itinerary is summer cruises out of Southampton - Mediterranean, Norwegian fjords, the Baltic, Canary Islands and Atlantic Islands.
