Millport
is the only town on the Isle of
Cumbrae. There is a slip about two
miles north of Millport where two small
car ferries travel back and forth all day
to the town of Largs on
the west of coast of Scotland, about a 15
minute crossing.
The Isle of Cumbrae has some excellent
views, especialy Millport Bay, the most
famous cycle lane in Scotland, about 10
miles around the Island with hundreds of
bycicles available for hire in Millport,
Watersports
Centre, Millport Golf
Club and the Cathedral of
the Isles, regarded as the smallest
cathedral in the world.
