The Glasgow Science Centre is situated on the south bank of the River Clyde, at Pacific Quay, with many Bridges across the River, and good Paths down each side of the River, for anyone walking out from the centre.

This is a Multi Complex with a Science Mall, an IMAX Cinema, and the Glasgow Tower that opened in 2001.

The Science Mall, is over three floors, with over 250 interactive exhibits, a Science Show Theatre, and the Glasgow Science Centre Planetarium, that projects images of the night sky onto a 49ft diameter dome.

The IMAX Cinema, seats 370 with a massive 82 feet by 62 feet screen, that can also display 3D films.

The huge car park costs about £5 for up to 24 hours. This is where the Waverley Paddle Steamer departs from now, so the Science Centre car park is used for that as well. Opening times, and prices for entry visit:
