There are about 20 golf courses in the city suburbs, within 10 miles of Glasgow centre, all set in woodland parks. All Glasgow golf clubs welcome visitors and have good facilities for golf, lunch and drinks.

Glasgow Taxis charge about £25 each way from the city centre up to 10 miles.
